Rays dramatically improve its cast wheels' performance by applying the spinning method for forged wheels to cast rim molding. This is known as the Rays Cast Flow Forming (R.C.F.) method.
The R.C.F. method is designed to increase the strength of cast wheels by creating a tissue similar to what is referred to as fiber flow lines in the cast wheels' structure. Producing cast wheels using this method is just one of the areas in which Rays excels.
In the belief that the J.W.L. standards adhered to in Japan are the minimum strength standards that wheel manufacturers must meet, Rays' conducts its practical strength tests that better reflect actual driving conditions. The company requires all of its wheels to meet its in-house standards (JWL+R) and its cast wheels to meet even more rigorous in-house standards (JWL+R SPEC1). Safety is the absolute minimum requirement that Rays must meet, no matter how much it may strive to achieve high performance. The fundamental mission of Rays is to ensure the safety of all drivers that use its wheels.
