Rizaltado Wheels - Work Rizaltado Wheels

Work Rizaltado Wheels

The WORK Rizaltado wheels are manufactured using WORK’s multi-stage, 2-piece Construction. The spoke has, well, ten spokes that stand out from the rest. Available in 16" and 17 "diameters and a wide range of widths and offsets. The Mesh can be had in either Step Rim (17′′) or Full Reverse (17′′/16′′) is barrel choices. The Rizaltado wheels are two-piece construction wheels, utilize Work’s advance forming outer rim barrel and center disk. The advantage of two-piece wheels is, stiffer, suitable for track use, offset fine-tuning, a wide range of diameters, and customization options available. The barrel and disc of the Rizaltado Spoke are molded and constructed separately. The new method of jointing parts of the 2-piece wheel together is through welding. The offset can be specially altered millimeter literally by millimeter to your ideal position of the disc face.

Whilst most companies brag about forged construction, that process only applies to the center of the wheel. Having a forged center disk with spun rim barrels doesn’t make much difference in stiffness. The solid rim flange and a thicker barrel on Work Wheels give them strength over other wheels on the market. The rim barrel is the part of the wheel that takes most of the load of the vehicle. Work Wheels is one of the only companies in the world that has developed and used a ‘Solid Rim Flange’ which provides the much needed strength.

Features:

  • 2-piece construction means the offset can be adjusted millimeter by millimeter to your ideal disk face position
  • WFT construction means this wheel is super light and extremely strong
  • Disk face and barrel customizable with Work’s range of color finishes
  • Wheel Size: 16”, 17”
  • Finish: Matte Silver | Matte Black | Black Polish | Brush Silver Clear
  • Configuration: 4x100

Work Wheels' 2-Piece Construction

Work’s Flowforming Technology (WFT) manufacturing method was originally used on the inner barrel of the Work Emotion CR Kiwami. After the barrel is casted, the mold is stretched out while an immense amount of pressure is applied to it. This manufacturing method makes the macrostructure of aluminum more defined. Furthermore, allowing the rim thinner and lightweight by this way makes it similar to the forged.

Work 2-piece models are produced with the lips and barrels as one which, along with the faces, are then welded together. This allows for offsets and lip measurements to be selected in single millimeter increments, offering unparalleled levels of customization. The barrel and disc are molded and constructed separately. The new method of jointing parts of the 2-piece wheel together is through welding.

The WFT Process

Work’s flow form manufacturing method was originally used on the inner barrel of the Work Emotion CR Kiwami. After the barrel is casted, the mold is stretched out while an immense amount of pressure is applied to it.

This manufacturing method makes the macrostructure of aluminum more defined. Furthermore, allowing a thinner rim makes it lightweight, positively comparable to forged wheels. The tensile strength and tenacity required for the inner rim are dramatically increased and, at the same time, adding more durability on outer rim.

Work focuses heavily on the technology used in rim forming, the rim barrel in a WORK wheel is what sets the alloys apart from the competition. The rim barrel is the part of the wheel that takes most of the load of the vehicle. Work Wheels is one of the only companies in the world that has developed and used a Solid Rim Flange which provides extreme strength.

Advantages of Two Piece Wheels

  • Two-piece wheels are stronger and last longer in tough use
  • Two-piece wheels can be repaired with the replacement of one of the two pieces which is always cheaper than buying a new one-piece wheel of equivalent quality and weight
  • Custom barrels can be constructed to give widths that would customarily be unavailable
  • Custom faces allow for the user to achieve a specific offset and, or specific backspacing
  • Two-piece wheels allow a custom design, or custom bolt pattern to fit racing hubs, or locking, latching attachment methods, or to adapt if the wheel's stock face is not available for your car's bolt pattern
