Zeast Wheels - Zeast Wheels

Work Zeast Wheels

Work Zeast Wheels are developed as admirable line of wheels offering attractive designs and numerous fitments based on sound engineering and advanced technology. The extensive collection of wheel styles and fitment options allows for customers to choose what fits their taste best – ranging from standard to aggressive sets.

All Work Zeast wheels are 2-piece wheels with a bold spoke design. Like most Work Wheels, Zeast wheels are produced using Work’s forging technology. Work also adopted the on-demand system, which means that the wheel you order will only be made once you have requested it. The reason behind this is because you can pretty much choose any offset you wish. This ultimately means that every Zeast produced is a bespoke piece of a wheel, tailored just for your car.

Work Wheels' 2-Piece Construction

Work’s Flowforming Technology (WFT) manufacturing method was originally used on the inner barrel of the Work Emotion CR Kiwami. After the barrel is casted, the mold is stretched out while an immense amount of pressure is applied to it. This manufacturing method makes the macrostructure of aluminum more defined. Furthermore, allowing the rim thinner and lightweight by this way makes it similar to the forged.

Work 2-piece models are produced with the lips and barrels as one which, along with the faces, are then welded together. This allows for offsets and lip measurements to be selected in single millimeter increments, offering unparalleled levels of customization. The barrel and disc are molded and constructed separately. The new method of jointing parts of the 2-piece wheel together is through welding.

The WFT Process

Work’s flow form manufacturing method was originally used on the inner barrel of the Work Emotion CR Kiwami. After the barrel is casted, the mold is stretched out while an immense amount of pressure is applied to it.

This manufacturing method makes the macrostructure of aluminum more defined. Furthermore, allowing a thinner rim makes it lightweight, positively comparable to forged wheels. The tensile strength and tenacity required for the inner rim are dramatically increased and, at the same time, adding more durability on outer rim.

Work focuses heavily on the technology used in rim forming, the rim barrel in a WORK wheel is what sets the alloys apart from the competition. The rim barrel is the part of the wheel that takes most of the load of the vehicle. Work Wheels is one of the only companies in the world that has developed and used a Solid Rim Flange which provides extreme strength.

Advantages of Two Piece Wheels

  • Two-piece wheels are stronger and last longer in tough use
  • Two-piece wheels can be repaired with the replacement of one of the two pieces which is always cheaper than buying a new one-piece wheel of equivalent quality and weight
  • Custom barrels can be constructed to give widths that would customarily be unavailable
  • Custom faces allow for the user to achieve a specific offset and, or specific backspacing
  • Two-piece wheels allow a custom design, or custom bolt pattern to fit racing hubs, or locking, latching attachment methods, or to adapt if the wheel's stock face is not available for your car's bolt pattern
