The versatile Clutch Masters FX500 System uses either the Power Plus I or Power Plus II Pressure Plate along with a solid center 4 or 6 wing (paddle) Ceramic Button disc. It is designed for maximum holding capacity with no compromises.
The un-sprung solid hub design allows for instant engagement and disengagement in any application, rendering it extremely hard for street use, and is therefore recommended for racing applications only. This disc is designed for outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation.
Custom full drag race FX500 systems utilize a Sintered Iron friction material designed for the most extreme conditions.
The included lightweight aluminum flywheels' reduced mass equals increased acceleration and reduced turbo lag in turbo-charged engines, as well as increased supercharger efficiency due to less drag on the crank. Normally aspirated engines will benefit from improved mid-range torque. Aluminum flywheels are a two-piece unit featuring a high carbon steel replaceable friction surface.
