Heritage series designs are a new update to some of Forgeline's Iconic wheel designs. Heritage series brings them back with updated methods of CNC machining and construction. Engineers use cutting-edge computer simulation and finite element analysis while designing each Forgeline wheel. They also undergo stringent tests more demanding than SAE requirements using actual load variables to guarantee durability, safety, and reliability.
Forgeline Heritage wheels feature revolutionary design elements such as I-beamed spokes, concealed titanium ARP fasteners, and carefully crafted centers. This makes Forgeline wheels stronger, faster, and more stylish than the competition.
Forgeline wheels are made using heated aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum that is forged by 6,000 tons of hydraulic pressure. This manufacturing technique delivers grain structure alignment, minimal porosity, and more even material. The result is a wheel with optimal strength-to-weight ratio and quality. Typically, Forgeline wheels are four times stronger than conventional cast-aluminum wheels.
New for 2020, the Forgeline Heritage OE1 and OE2 wheels are the embodiment of a "cool old school" with a modern twist. OE1 and OE2 wheels are custom-made forged wheels that look like vintage "steelies," but because they are forged aluminum wheels designed for larger fittings and 21st-century cornering loads, they retain a vintage look while adding the performance and safety benefits of a modern wheel and tire combination.
