Gram Lights 57ANA Wheels

What makes the gramLights 57ANA Azure Special?

The design principle of the Gram Lights 57ANA is to articulate next-generation wheel design in three dimensions. It appears to be a 2×5 spoken rim from the front, but you can suddenly see a different word if you change angles. This is due to the recent incorporation (first industry) of a high-dimensional melting of machining and diamond cutting. This process continues to be built on two-dimensional and three-dimensional surfaces. Consequently, the central component changes its appearance depending on the perspective from which it is seen. Not only that, those aspects are further illustrated by a design that focuses on the vertical portion of the spoke by intentionally restricting its concaveness, thereby emphasizing its three-dimensionality. The center cap has also been freshly created to match each color.

GramLights are manufactured in Japan at the Rays Wheels plant. Rays Engineering applies their advanced casting technology on GramLights wheels, making them strong and lightweight. They also conform to the JWL Japanese standards, not to mention Rays stringent in-house quality control examinations.

Features:

  • 17, 18, 19, 20-inch diameters
  • Formed using RCF Technology
  • JWL+R Spec 1

RAYS RCF Method

Rays dramatically improve its cast wheels' performance by applying the spinning method for forged wheels to cast rim molding. This is known as the Rays Cast Flow Forming (R.C.F.) method.

The R.C.F. method is designed to increase the strength of cast wheels by creating a tissue similar to what is referred to as fiber flow lines in the cast wheels' structure. Producing cast wheels using this method is just one of the areas in which Rays excels.

JWL+R Spec 1

In the belief that the J.W.L. standards adhered to in Japan are the minimum strength standards that wheel manufacturers must meet, Rays' conducts its practical strength tests that better reflect actual driving conditions. The company requires all of its wheels to meet its in-house standards (JWL+R) and its cast wheels to meet even more rigorous in-house standards (JWL+R SPEC1). Safety is the absolute minimum requirement that Rays must meet, no matter how much it may strive to achieve high performance. The fundamental mission of Rays is to ensure the safety of all drivers that use its wheels.

  • A lighter wheel reduces un-sprung weight, resulting in faster acceleration and significantly improved handling
  • A bigger wheel allows space for much larger brake rotors and calipers—usually a must when a car is built to race
  • A larger wheel is more attractive in design compared to dull stock wheels
