The GrimmSpeed Boost Control Solenoid has been proven time and time again. With tens of thousands on vehicles across the world, tuners trust it and our customers love it. What you see here is the same great solenoid with millions of miles of real world testing and an innovative mounting solution, designed specifically for your vehicle. The machined adapter also features standard NPT threads, should you choose to upgrade to AN lines and fittings, or even a different boost control solution (manual, standalone, hybrid, etc) down the road. Finally, the GrimmSpeed BCS system will arrive fully assembled and ready for installation.

The advantages of a 3-port boost control system vs. the factory 2-port system are readily apparent during the tuning process. The 3-port systems works by interrupting the boost signal traveling from the turbo to the wastegate. That boost is redirected back into the turbo inlet and re-ingested by the turbo using our machined adapter. This is important, as the factory Mass Airflow Sensor has already measured that air and is expecting that your motor will use it during combustion, rather than venting it to the atmosphere. The factory configuration simply 'bleeds' the signal from between the turbo and wastegate, which creates a system that is a bit less complex, but reacts more slowly and with less precision.

Because this upgraded solenoid affects the way that your vehicle controls boost (that's the point!), it is always recommended that you consult with a tuner immediately following installation. It is not recommended that you drive the car in a way that builds boost without doing so. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with us directly!

What is the GrimmSpeed Limited Lifetime Warranty Policy?GrimmSpeed-branded products are warrantied to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product.

If a GrimmSpeed-branded product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy and you must provide proof of original purchase to be fully covered. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, improper care/installation, negligence, reasonable/normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors, coatings and materials over extended time and usage. GrimmSpeed cannot be held liable for any damage to your vehicle and/or its components caused by failures associated with the previous statement. Damage not covered under warranty may be considered for repair for a reasonable rate or a reduced price for a replacement piece (a fee will be charged for return shipping).This warranty is available in the United States and Canada.

This warranty does not cover products sold by GrimmSpeed that are not GrimmSpeed-branded products.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.

The GrimmSpeed website sells GrimmSpeed-branded discontinued, special make-up, and slightly blemished products at significant discounts as 'factory seconds' products. This warranty does not necessarily cover any products purchased as 'factory seconds'. The GrimmSpeed Warranty Department may repair 'factory seconds' products for a reasonable charge and a fee will be charged for return shipping.

Is normal wear and tear covered?

The GrimmSpeed Limited Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, but it does not cover normal wear and tear over extended time and usage. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your GrimmSpeed product, like all performance parts it will eventually begin to show age and wear. Common examples of wear and tear that would not be covered under the limited lifetime warranty include denting, abrasions or scratches, color changing from heat in exhaust components and so on, less common examples include flex-section wear and fatigue cracks over an extended period of time.

How do I send my product in for warranty?

The first step is to contact support@grimmspeed.com and let them know of your issues/concerns. From there, a customer service representative will personally work with you to determine the best path forward. For the quickest service, please include your contact information and photos of the failed product along with a copy of your receipt/invoice in your initial email.

Upon request from your customer service representative, your product must be returned directly to The GrimmSpeed Warranty Department at 650 Taft St NE, Suite 300, Minneapolis, MN, 55413. All shipping to Warranty must be pre-paid and insured. GrimmSpeed cannot be liable for lost in-bound packages.
