Notes:

NOTE: The backside of the driver's side port flange will possibly need to be relieved/notched to provide clearance to install the engine oil dipstick tube
This can best be accomplished through the use of a rotary file equipped die-grinder, a 4"-4
5" angle grinder, or a rat-tail round hand file
Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties
Ceramic coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure before they will withstand extreme heat
Hooker recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers to break in new engines to avoid coating damage

The use of header wraps can cause the header tubes to crack or rust due to excessive heat and moisture build-up
Hooker does not recommend the use of header wraps as this will void the warranty

Who is Hooker Headers?

Hooker Headers is a company founded by Gary Hooker in 1962. It started when he decided to design a header for his 409 Chevrolet. Soon after, he realized a demand for headers in his area and decided to produce them commercially. Starting with a few employees in a building in South Ontario, CA, Hooker Headers was born.
