The WP Pro front brake rotor kit can greatly improve your stopping performance on the Nissan GT-R R35. To use the larger diameter rotor, WP Pro supplies a caliper spacer that is designed for either the 2008-2011 models or the 2012+ GT-R’s. The rotors feature a machined aluminum hat with 2 piece hardware. The rotor hats are hard anodized to prevent any scratching or wearing from taking wheels on and off. Each rotor has been heat treated for 24 hours at temperatures of up to 800 degrees Celsius (1472F). One of the biggest advantages of doing a brake upgrade is the rotational weight savings. From the factory, the stock 2 piece 390mm rotors weighed in at 25.5lbs per corner. The WP Pro front rotors weigh only 23.4 lbs. which saves you 2.1 lbs. per corner over the stock 2012+ 390mm rotors. The rotational weight savings is like taking 6.3 lbs. of dead weight off each corner!
The WP Pro rotors feature a unique Sun Cut pattern with the drilled holes overlaying the slotted design. This design saves more weight compared to standard round discs and improves the longevity of the rotor from it's cooling capabilities. With more effective curved vanes in a V shape, these further help dissipate heat away from the rotors. This design improves cooling by pushing cool air from the center of the wheel to where the rotor needs it most. Each kit has been manufactured to achieve WP Pro's high quality standards that come from years of rigorous testing. The kit is sold as a complete front axle setup with rotors, hardware, and hats. Replacement brake discs can be purchased separately when necessary as the brake hat is not a consumable item.

These calipers were tested against some major companies' calipers and proved stronger and more rigid.
What we are really excited about is its Carbon Ceramic rotor offerings. For years it has been only the OEMs who had the carbon ceramic rotors as a factory options. This option could cost upwards of $30,000 and good luck finding cheap or any replacement parts. The reason carbon ceramic rotors are so highly desired is they are EXTREMELY lightweight and simply do not fade. WP Pro Brakes has a huge application list of Carbon Ceramic rotors for almost every high performance car including Aston Martin, Ferrari, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 996 997 Turbo or GT3, and others. Of course these are not or never will be priced as low as standard steel discs, but are much more affordable and for those looking at serious braking performance or upgrades, this is an amazing option. For some of the Carbon Ceramic kits, WP Pro offers the discs to work with the factory hat, or alternatively will include the hat assembly and pads. Some kits are even a Plus 1 size to give you more rotor surface for better braking. For price comparison, the front 997 Turbo carbon ceramic rotors to work with the OEM 6piston calipers are $7800. That is in the OEM size of 380x35 but they even do a 'Plus 1' kit to a 392x35mm!
