WARRANTY INFORMATION

All RND Engines come with a one year / 12,000 mile limited warranty, whichever comes first. Customers must adhere to the RND Engine directives which must be followed explicitly for the installation, break-in, use, and vehicle maintenance; not doing so will void any warranty, express or implied.

The warranty covers all new internally lubricated components within the engine supplied by RND Engines. The warranty does not cover cylinder/liner failures on engines with Nickies Lite direct cylinder plating or any repair costs due to a cylinder related failure on engines not fitted with Nickies cylinder sleeves. The warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages including, but not limited to, those caused by faulty sensors, emissions components, or any defective external engine components. There is no warranty for engines that have been abused or neglected, including, but not limited to, having been overheated, over-revved, run without oil or coolant, or involved in an vehicle accident or fire. Additionally, there is no warranty for engines that see track service which is defined as any activity that is not carried out on a public street including competitive racing, DE, AX, time trials, or anything other than normal street driving.

All warranty work must be carried out at RND Engines and will require the engine be returned or vehicle shipped to RND Engines for warranty evaluation. Warranty does not cover costs for labor time, parts, or consumables for diagnostics, engine removal, and engine reinstallation. Shipping of the engine longblock and/or vehicle transport charges are the responsibility of the customer. Any costs above and beyond the repair of the longblock are 100% the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the limited warranty for workmanship of the engine longblock provided by RND Engines. Repairs under warranty are the responsibility of the customer and will be billed out at the current labor rate (contact us for rate information) and parts/consumables at current MSRP.

Warranty begins from day of shipping and is non-transferable. Authorized repairs carried out under warranty are covered by the original warranty up to one year from original engine longblock ship date.

Clearance engines are sold as-is/where-is with no warranty. Customer assumes all liability when purchasing a clearance engine from RND Engines.
