This Mustang Cold Air Intake Kit ,from ROUSH, fits 2005-2009 models with the 4.0L V6 Engine, and features the ROUSH air filter, air dam and induction tube. Cold air induction is a more efficient air intake method. Cold air induction can unleash the latent potential in power and fuel efficiency. The cold air induction process: Air first comes into the Air Dam, which keeps out hot air from the engine compartment. The result is that the air entering the filter is cooler and dense, providing for a more potent air charge. The ROUSH air filter media is a synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze performance
filters can t capture. Based on SAE standards, ROUSH air filters capture almost twice the percentage of 2 micron particulates, and more than six times the amount of 0.5 micron particulates than our competitors filters. Furthermore, ROUSH air filters are constructed using the finest materials available today, featuring a hand-poured urethane body that won t crack, curl or shrink like other rubber or plastisol units used by our competitors. ROUSH air filtration performance is second to none.
This ROUSH air filter is 100% washable, reusable and features a lifetime warranty. The ROUSH Cool Air Dam surrounds the filter, helping to keep out hot air from the engine, further maximizing performance. Once air passed through the filter, it is taken to the engine through a Modular Intake Tube, MIT that can improve airflow up to 400 CFM over the restrictive stock intake tube. Made from cross-linked, high-density polyethylene, the MIT straightens out air flow by providing a smooth, unrestricted path that increases air flow to the engine. ROUSH's warranty obligations for ROUSH® Parts and Accessories (individually and collectively "Part(s)"") is limited to defects in materials and workmanship, as solely determined after ROUSH’s careful inspection, for that period identified in the chart below that begins on the date of retail purchase from an Authorized ROUSH Performance Dealer by the original end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period").
WARRANTY COVERAGE
If we determine that a Part(s) purchased from an Authorized ROUSH Dealer is defective, and it was returned for warranty reasons within the 90 day Warranty Period, at our option we will either (1) repair the Part(s) at no charge or (2) replace the Part(s) with one that is new. A replacement Part(s) that has been installed in accordance with ROUSH’s instructions, assumes the remaining warranty of the original Part(s) replaced. If a Part(s) or any component thereof is exchanged, the replacement becomes your property and the returned Part(s) or component becomes ROUSH’s property. Part(s) or any component thereof provided by ROUSH® to you to fulfill its warranty obligation must be used in the Part(s) for which warranty service is claimed.
