SSR's latest evolution of the executor wheel series has been revealed. The Executor CV05S Super Concave Wheels' refined and luxurious yet stylish design suits high-end luxury sports cars as well as sports coupes. The CV05S is available in 19" and 20" diameters ranging from 8.0 "to 13.5" widths. There is a full range of offsets as well as three types of disks for one face system - Super Concave (to optimize the outer rim profundity). The CV05S is a complete reverse wheel which visually amplifies the outer lip width.
Executor CV05S Super Concave Wheels are heat-treated for a second time after the wheels go through a spinning process during manufacturing. The heat application increases the wheel's strength. As a result, the Executor CV05S are lighter and stronger making them suitable for racing cars and heavier vehicles with hard tuning.
The one-piece SSR wheels are smooth, precise, lightweight, and solid. SSR manufactures all single piece wheels with SSF technology. Executor CV05S starts with an aluminum billet MHD (Magneto-Hydro Dynamics), which is heated to a semi-solid semi-molten state. The material is then pressed in at an extremely high rate through the SSF machine which creates the wheel.
The barrel begins as a flat piece of circular aluminum and is then molded into a barrel using a pressing machine. The material is very dense at this point which allows the barrel to be lightweight and solid. The barrel is then split into parts to become several wheels and sent for polishing -- separate barrel is then inserted precisely with the completed rim face and welded inside the barrel depending on the option of offset.
SSR integrates the latest technology in its lightweight 3 piece wheels design and manufacture. The three-piece wheel consists of an outer rim, inner rim, and center disk that allows SSR to offer a wide variety of offsets and ensures proper vehicle-specific fitting. The inner rim of the wheel is heat-treated for energy, using the HTM (Heat Treatment Manufacture) method that allows for weight savings using thinner material.
The spokes on your SSR Executor CV05S Wheels have the very important job of connecting the wheel's rim - outer diameter - to the plate at the center section of the wheel where the bolt holes and lugs connecting the wheel to the vehicle are kept.
