The three-piece wheel is made up of an outer rim, inner rim, and center disc which allows SSR to offer wide range of offsets and ensures proper fitment specific to your vehicle. The inner rim of the wheel is heat treated for strength, using the HTM (Heat Treatment Manufacture) process which allows for the use of a thinner material to save weight. With weight and high strength in mind, each section of the wheel is engineered using separate grades and thickness of aluminum according to its purpose. The MK III Neo wheels are three piece in construction, made with HTM Technology in Japan. HTM is a heat treatment for added strength. The MK III Neo wheels come with a Flat Lip and with a Stepped Lip. The MK III Neo 3-Piece wheels are composed of an outer rim, and inner rim, and a center disc. The outer rim is welded to the inner rim and then the center disc is bolted to them, combining them together. The SSR Heat Treatment Manufacture is when the inner barrel is heated a second time, increasing both lightness and strength. This makes the Executor MK III Neo wheels ideal for hard tuned race cars and heavier vehicles.
