The Synchronic Wastegates feature 6 different boost settings per spring combination. Fine tuning the boost level is also available using the preload adjuster. Both the 50mm and 40mm gates now come with 2 preload springs and 2 main springs to suit a wider range of boost levels right out of the box. All wastegates also come with 2 different diameter valve seats to combat boost taper/creep, and a high temp, high pressure sealing ring for installation without having to use gaskets. Units come with a nitrited, one piece, forged, tooling-grade crucible steel valve designed for a low coefficient of thermal expansion. The nitriding has resulted in a significant reduction or eliminiation of chemical deposition on the valve surface, and a higher surface hardness.

50mm wastegates are designed to be used with 2.5" V-Band clamps, and 40mm wastegates are designed to use the common 38mm 2 bolt flange.
