Unique on Sustec Pro suspensions, the internal valving of each suspension is tuned for a wide variety of driving needs. Extremely high performance and comfort can co-exist with Sustec Pro, and unnecessary adjustments are eliminated for quick, simple use, where each tuned setting can noticeably change the cars personality.
Sustec Pro Five is an all new adjustable coilover that features a wide array of new circuit-developed technology that is similar to Tanabes Sustec Pro Seven. However, Sustec Pro Five delivers broad performance at a fraction of the cost.
Featuring the same slide-valve technology as the Seven, the Sustec Pro Five also gives a great range of adjustability and function for street and track use. When used with the new TEAS electronic active suspension controller, the wide range of dampening force is accessible through the touch of a button, and is fully programmable to automatically adjust dampening rates according to the speed you drive.
Competition Spec PRO210 Race Springs
A higher spring rate for motorsports applications. Excellent handling, and most importantly, controllable traction is immediately noticeable through the use of the race developed spring. PRO210 was developed for extreme durability and balance. This spring has the highest tensile strength available do to Tanabes unique manufacturing process.
Ultra Heavy Duty Construction
The front suspension of a race vehicle experiences the most abuse, therefore a special dual plate stamped steel bracket is used. This bracket is extremely rugged and resists damage where most suspensions fall short.
The rear suspension features a high tensile CNC forged aluminum knuckle that is both lightweight and rigid. The ruggedness of the bracketry on this suspension exceeds even OEM vehicle standards.
Reinforced Shock Piston, Reinforced Valving
The oversized shock piston is fully reinforced to resist flexing or snapping. The internal valving of the Five is also fully reinforced for the increased and rapidly changing loads experienced during drifting. The internals resist oil and gas foaming and overheating of the internal components which can detract from performance and driving under extreme conditions for extended amounts of time.
Durable Spring Seat & Lock Nut
Constructed of forged aluminum, longetivity and superior strength is ensured. Additionally, the threaded portion of the casing is chemically treated to resist rust and corrosion.
Upper Mounts Included
Solid mounting pillowball or rubber upper mounts are included on the front and rear of the Pro Five. These upper mounts have the added benefit of having front adjustable camber plates for fixing or modifying camber settings beyond factory limitations. Solid pillowball upper mounts prevent suspension geometry changes under various suspension loads.
