A valve spring is mounted around the valve stem and fastened by a bracket. Its primary role is to monitor the whole valve train, guaranteeing that the correct amount of spring pressure is continuously protected to detect the valve from bouncing. Since the valve bounce can contribute to massive failure, loss of power, and even rupture inside the valve, these springs have a vital function.
