Product Information American Racing Headers is a great example of what culminates when highly skilled fabricators, with a complete understanding of motorsports and the science behind the parts they create, come together to take on a new world of high performance. Taking the "Bull by the Horns" approach, American Racing Headers was formed to prove that superior quality and outstanding performance can and will be the keys to success. A staff with 40 plus years of combined high performance exhaust fabrication experience see to it that only the finest components and craftsmanship go into every header system. Now available is their 100% U.S. made long tube 304 S/S header systems that are designed to fit great, install easily and produce outstanding horsepower and torque. Recent dyno testing of the 1 7/8" system with cats produced gains of 32 RWHP without a tune and 50 RWHP with a tune. RWTQ was up 45 ft. lbs after the tune. The system comes with everything youd expect from American Racing Headers, including 3/8" thick flanges with tig welded and hand ported inlets, merge collectors with scavenger spikes, OEM style band clamps, Grade 8 hardware and Flat Out Racing Gaskets. The exhaust system is all 3" and extends to the rear axle where it reduces to 2 1/2" I.D. and mates to the factory exhaust.
