The Nissan GTR is known as the most prestigious vehicle Nissan has manufactured. Featuring the most engineering, performance, and aftermarket compared to the rest of the Nissan lineup the GTR has become many enthusiasts dream car. Our customer @JaydenHill has made his dream a reality by obtaining a beautiful 2016 Nissan GTR. With any car enthusiast, owning a stock car becomes boring after some time no matter how fast it is.

Jayden installed a selection of aftermarket parts to improve the performance and aesthetics of his GTR. To unlock the glorious roar of the twin-turbocharged 3.8L V6, AAM downpipes were paired with a Boost Logic exhaust system. The increase in piping diameter from the AAM downpipes and Boost Logic exhaust significantly reduces restriction. This allows the boost pressure to be raised without back-pressure preventing the turbochargers to work efficiently.

When it comes to making reliable power, Jayden opted to upgrade the fueling system by installing Injector Dynamic ID1300’s. Raising the boost pressure allows more air to enter the engine which can be an issue if there is not enough fuel. Since too much air in the combustion chamber can bend rods, the increase in air demands an increase in fuel. The ID1300 injectors allow Jayden to turn up the boost without worrying about his engine.

To improve the overall aesthetics of the GTR, APR carbon fiber canards were installed which also serve a function. Canards installed on the front of the vehicle help balance the front and rear downforce. Due to the wing on the rear, there is an increased downforce at the back of the vehicle. By adding canards to the front, there is an extra force pushing the front end down for more grip in corners.

Topping off the aero is an APR front air dam which gives the GTR an overall aggressive look and pairs well with the canards. This GTR is straying far from its stock form while gaining power and function along the way. Each component serves a valuable role in the performance of the GTR and was chosen wisely.
