This BladeRunner intercooler tube kit offers the ultimate smooth transition between the engine and the turbo for low operating temperatures and, consequently, improved power. The smooth transitions in the mandrel-bent aluminum tubing reduce turbulence and minimize pressure loss, thus increasing horsepower and torque figures. The Charge Pipe Kit promises to deliver +15 horsepower and +19 pound-feet of torque, while the Muffler Delete version will add +23 horsepower and +28 pound-feet of torque to your VW (or Audi).
The Charge Pipe Kit with Muffler Delete has an oversized 2-1/4” OD Turbo Muffler Delete that replaces the Volkswagen’s factory turbo muffler located between the turbo compressor outlet and the hot side intercooler tube. The straight-through, oversized design strategically increases flow and the car’s turbocharger soundtrack by way of the smooth transitions between the turbo and intercooler tube (as aforementioned). It is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a stunning red anodized finish that delivers the ultimate durability and strength that you can count on.
The aFe BladeRunner Hot and Cold Charge Pipe Kit includes high-quality, stainless-steel, spring-loaded T-bolt clamps and heavy-duty, 5-ply polyester reinforced silicone couplings for added strength and resilience. Both kits below are finished in an attractive wrinkle black powder coating with the aFe Power logo laser etched on the tube for a customized look.
