The increased airflow is attributed to the two large, high-performance, reusable filters and a specifically designed carbon fiber intake tube that effectively improves the factory housing’s functionality.
Filters for the Super Stock Induction System are available in aFe’s Pro DRY S non-oiled media as well as its Pro 5R oiled media. The choice is yours. The former (Pro DRY S) features three layers of oil-free synthetic media and requires no oil during servicing to provide the utmost convenience. The progressive layering offers great filtration properties and dust-holding capability. This type of filter is best suited for street use. It can be easily recharged with aFe’s POWER CLEANER. The latter (Pro 5R) filter has five layers of pre-oiled cotton gauze media to deliver maximum performance. It allows the filter to flow at high levels even when it is dirty. This media is perfect for street and/or track use. It can also be easily recharged with aFe’s POWER CLEANER together with the blue air filter oil.
