Customer Spotlight: 6.0L LS Swapped Chrysler Crossfire With A WaveTrac Differential

The Chrysler Crossfire was a hit and miss within the automotive community. Featuring a measly V6 engine, it just wasn’t enough power or excitement to keep owners thrilled while driving these vehicles. Our customer @k.novak8 took it upon himself to increase the power output in one of the best ways possible, by throwing an LS engine in it.

Sometimes the best solution for any vehicle that doesn’t have enough power is to LS swap it. The bottom end torque is a result of the mid-camshaft design that utilizes push rods to activate the valves. Paired with the Crossfire, the 6.0L LS engine provides the performance that is much needed in the chassis.

To reliably deliver the power to the pavement, our customer chose to go with a WaveTrac differential. With the installation of the WaveTrac differential, the power can be translated to the ground without any worry of breaking any gears and locking the differential up. Since the factory differential was not intended to be matched up to an LS, it wasn’t long before the upgrade was needed.

Crafted from the ultimate high-quality materials, the billet casing provides immense strength and durability. The rugged construction permits drag, street, and even autocross abuse. After the installation of the WaveTrac differential, the nitrous/supercharged LS engine can finally put all of its power to the ground without the worry of breakage.
