Anyone who is familiar at all with drifting or has seen any Fast and Furious movies has certainly heard of the Nissan Silvia (or 240SX, as it is called in North America). The 240SX, as it may suggest, is badged like so to reflect its 2.4-liter engine which delivers 155 horsepower and 160 pound-feet of torque. When Nissan first introduced the 240SX in the late ‘80s, its mission was to revolutionize the sport compact vehicle market with an affordable rear-wheel-drive sports car.
The S13 (1989-1994) and S14 (1994-1998) are the most popular generations in North America. 1998 marked the end of production for the Nissan 240SX, with no further variations released in North America. And, although it’s been out of production for quite some time now, the Nissan 240SX is still highly popular in the drifting world and among the tuner community. One of our customers is the lucky owner of a 240SX from 1998 in the beautiful Cobalt Green Pearl exterior color.
