Although the Chevy SS wasn’t very popular, it presented enthusiasts with an opportunity to own a mild-looking sedan with the performance of a Camaro. The SS is a relatively mild-looking vehicle, and some may even consider it a sleeper. As with pretty much any car, the OEM wheels have a somewhat dull design with very conservative fitment. One of the easiest ways to make your SS stand out from the crowd is with a set of aftermarket wheels. With the help of one of our performance specialists, this particular customer chose a set of Rohana RFX7 wheels for their SS.
The RFX7 wheels use a unique split seven-spoke design with a directional twist. The SS is a pretty heavy car with a quite a bit of power and grip, which puts a lot of strain on the wheels. The RFX7 uses a rotary forged construction which is significantly stronger than a cast wheel, but without the cost of a fully forged wheel. Wrapped around the RFX7 wheels are Nitto Nt555 G2s. Giving the SS a low and aggressive stance is a set of lowering springs.
