It’s no secret that Vivid Racing likes McLarens. When we had our Project McLaren 570S, we got to develop a ton of cool parts for it, and we solidified ourselves as a go-to retailer for McLaren owners. Even though Project McLaren is long gone, we are still a big name in the McLaren market, and as such sell parts to a lot of McLaren owners. One of customer’s just picked up a set fo Forgeline GT1 wheels wrapped around R888 tires that will be used as a track setup.
“Ordered a new set of Forgeline GT1’s to pair with R888R’s to serve as a track setup. Got them put on the car today. They look more “racy” than the HRE’s I have as my car show/cruise wheels on the car, but tires wouldn’t work on factory wheels, so I got these, and the fitment is spot on! Forgeline knows their setups for sure. A couple of iPhone pics, but you get the idea on setup,” said our customer. “Thanks, Austin, great service as always! Hopefully, I’ll get some better pics soon, and I’ll send you some. They do fit the car well. I was worried when I first mounted the rear ones because they looked too wide to fit properly, but the offsets are PERFECT!”
These wheels are 19×9 up front and 20×11 in the rear. They are finished in Translucent Smoke and look great against the blue paint of this 650S. Be sure to check out the images below!
