You spend hours behind the wheel of your truck when commuting, at work, and on road trips, so you might as well take your driving experience to the next level! Your new steering wheel will be based on the Ford F-150 or F-250 OEM steering wheel cores. This way, no matter the year or buttons you have, we can make an upgraded steering wheel for you. Vivid Racing’s factory alters the shape while keeping the original inner ring for safety reasons. The upgraded steering wheel features beefier hand grips at 9 and 3 positions to deliver a more enhanced and in-control driving experience.
Our steering wheel shop has many options from which you can choose to configure your wheel, including colored 12 o’clock rings, matching stitching, leather, carbon fiber, perforated leather, Alcantara, and more. And because these are made off a factory steering wheel core, you retain your original buttons and trim along with reusing your airbag. Remember, this is not a simple cover but a completely re-engineered steering wheel based on your personal preferences!
Important Notes:
- Fits Gen 14 Ford F-150 and Gen 3 F-250
- Not for Ford vehicles with Active Steering Option.
- For Ford F-Series Trucks with no Paddles.
- Before we process your order, we request a photo of your stock steering wheel in your vehicle to make sure there are no differences or issues in the steering wheel build.
- All of your factory trim, buttons, paddles, and airbag must be moved from your stock steering wheel to the new one. If you ordered your steering wheel with a trim or paddle shifter upgrade, you do not need to swap these.
- Professional installation is required. We do not provide diagrams, “How To” guides, retrofit, or wiring instructions.

When you choose the options for your individual custom steering wheel, you will see that there is a core charge. Once Vivid Racing receives your original steering wheel at our headquarters, we will refund you this core amount. If you want to keep your stock steering wheel, you will just forfeit the core charge. Some steering wheels are available in stock, while others are made to order and can take between 6-8 weeks.
