Improve Reliability and hold Boost Levels Safely with a new kit from Forge
If you are serious about modifying your Fiat 500 Abarth or Dodge Dart, you will need to get rid of a few OEM components before diving in too deep. The factory re-circulation valve is a weak point in the turbocharged 1.4L that comes equipped in both of these vehicles. Forge has created a new product that is a direct bolt on that replaces these parts.
The new kit from Forge Motorsport is great for increased boost levels and helps to keep consistent boost under load. The design is up-rated and so are the internals / diaphragm. This also allows you to switch out springs which can be adjusted for your specific boost levels. The connector included makes everything a plug-and-play installation – including the wiring. Both of these valves are a piston design and are a direct replacement for the original fitment. Both valves give greater longevity than the diaphragm (OEM) valves but also benefits from its ability to be fitted with different springs when the boost pressure has been increased or the engine has been modified. To ease installation the top or vacuum connection is angled.
