These dry carbon grille surrounds were expertly developed and engineered using OEM standards as the framework. They are made with 100% pre-preg carbon fiber, resulting in a highly lightweight and durable construction with strong clips and tabs included for a secure and seamless fit. Dry carbon is known as being the highest-quality version of carbon fiber available due to its manufacturing process. It is formed using an impregnated piece of carbon that is first placed inside a mold and then into an autoclave to properly cure without any air pockets and with fewer pinholes. Furthermore, this production method creates the least amount of waste and forms a much lighter version of carbon than the “wet” method.
