Apart from its good looks, the Injen Evolution air intake system for the RAM 1500 is highly durable and much stronger than the competition. While others use an inferior HDPE linear polyethylene to mold their intakes, Injen uses XLPE polyethylene. The latter has 20 times the environmental stress crack resistance, 10 times the molecular weight, and five times the impact and tensile strength of HDPE.

The EVO8100/EVO8100C Evolution Air Intake System uses a custom-designed and dyno-tuned intake tube to deliver big power gains while retaining the factory fitment. Injen incorporated its internal MegaRam (MR) technology into its systems for safe and effective performance improvements to eliminate the fear of check engine lights.
The large SuperNano-Web Dry air filter (and optional oiled filter) that is included with the kit is specifically designed to work with Injen’s Twist-Lock System. This system has allowed engineers to use the biggest filter possible for this application.
