In case you didn’t already know, the factory boost pipes on the Can-AM X3 are pretty weak. They’re prone to popping off when you increase pressure and they don’t offer any way to mount a blow-off valve. On top of that, they’re relatively weak and can break with age, leaving you with a massive boost leak. Luckily, Agency Power is introducing its new X3 boost tubes!
These new boost tubes from Agency Power are constructed from high-quality 4-ply silicon and they’re significantly stronger than the OEM pipes. High-quality T-bar clamps are included with the boost tubes to reduce the chance of a tube blowing off from excessive boost.
One of the best features of these new boost tubes is the ability to add a BOV. Once you turn the boost up on your X3, you will run into turbo issues thanks to Can-AM’s omission of a BOV or BPV. A BOV works by releasing excess pressure that’s created by the turbo after the throttle is closed. Without a BOV, the turbocharger’s bearings experience a lot of stress, reducing the lifespan of the turbo.
