Once again I found myself drinking and modding. This is the unsafe, hazardous habit of grabbing parts off the shelf and installing them on your car while drinking. Be careful! For some time now, we have had this Kaminari 2 piece carbon splitter on the shelf. Thinking it would only work on the Kaminari lip, we grabbed our beer, found the dremel, and went to work.
The only hard part of getting these to work was to line them up evenly on both sides. The install was very simple. Just drill holes on the underside of the lip spoiler and screw them on. What did this do for performance? About 800 horsepower!!! Just kidding. But it did give the front end a totally new look. The splitters fit tight and gave the under side of the lip some insurance of curbs. It added that DTM Euro look and made our ChargeSpeed lip look way more aggressive.
Besides the obvious, what is interesting is you can install this carbon splitter to basically ANY lip or bumper out there. Giving the car a new look and style that will definitely get the judges.
