The stock headlights on any car can make or break the way it looks. The WRX has been known for its orange inserts that are ugly. The GC8 had them, so did the bug eye WRX, and now the 2004 as well. So what did we do, we got the 2004 JDM headlights of course and added a HID kit.
The nice thing about the JDM headlights unlike previous models, they are a direct plug in. No splicing, cutting, or headaches. Although adding a HID kit requires additional wiring, these headlights are a true plug and play.
Without the HID kit, you simply unbolt the stock unit and unclip the wiring harness’. Reclip the new headlights in and bolt them up and your done. Adding the HID kit is not that tough as the instructions require some additional connecting of the HID bulbs and ballasts.
You will be very impressed with the outcome. The new JDM headlights give the car a cleaner look without the orange inserts inside of them. They utilize the same bulbs and wiring which makes the switch easy. A definite must to stand out over the rest!
