If you have a jeep you most likely off-road it in some type of way, whether it’s mudding, rock crawling, trail riding, or just flat out exploring. In some cases, the path least traveled can throw a few curve balls and potentially leave you stranded. To help avoid damaging your vehicle in case of a rollover and provide a functionally stylish bumper, Steinjager has released a new stinger bumper for the Jeep Wrangler TJ.

To some, a stinger bumper is an eye-sore but this eye-sore could be the reason you drive your TJ home after rolling it. The most common issue in rollover accidents off-road is that the vehicle usually busts its radiator on a rock in the process of toppling over. Once that happens, you better hope your buddy has a trailer or a spare radiator. The stinger bumper design can also prevent roll-overs, to begin with, being that it is strategically designed to prop the vehicle on its nose if the path is too steep and the vehicle tips.

With durability and ruggedness in mind, Steinjager constructed this bumper out of 3/16th inch thick steel with 1/2 inch D-rings welded to the bumper. The stinger consists of 1.25″ x .120 wall tubing with 3/16″ gussets for ultimate rigidity. This bumper also permits the use of a factory sway bar if you desire to use it. With 18 wonderful powder coat options available, you will be able to match this bumper with any color scheme you have going on.
