VR Drift Car Makes D1GP Debut

With a last minute phone call, Vivid Racing brought Tony Angelo of Drift Alliance and Falken Tire the VR 240 to compete in the December 2005 D1 Grand Prix in Irwindale, California. Having only 2 track session of testing under its belt, Tony drove the car within 2 points of making it to the finals on Saturday December 17, 2005. The cars power steering was not working which made drifting extremely difficult. The brand new ball bearing turbo, Agency Power components, and JIC suspension enabled this 300 wheel horsepower to get Tony some incredible runs. Check out the images in our gallery.
