Coilovers/Coilover Suspension

Coilovers are a combination of a coil spring and shock absorber preassembled and matched to give your car the best in performance handling. Coilovers can have several features including adjustable ride height, camber plates or pillowball mounts, and adjustable dampening. Compared to your factory suspension, coilovers are designed to improve your handling with a stiffer setup that has a spring and shock absorber paired together to give the best reaction to the road surfaces and conditions. Depending on the damper type and its adjustability, the coilover will be able to act fast or slower to the road surfaces. Coilovers are usually available with or can be switched to different spring rates. Spring rates are what each spring is rated for. This unit of measure is sometimes in KG or lbs/in. A stiffer spring will be on the front of a car where the engine is usually. Coilovers are great for the weekend racer or the daily driver wanting the best handling and ride quality. Coilovers are a must for all road race cars.

The bustling facility includes a brand new 65,000 sq. ft. Research & Development center with test equipment, multiple auto lifts, a video and photography studio, and its own Mazak multi-tasking CNC machine for creating and testing new parts. In addition, Arnott houses an air-conditioned production facility which includes multiple Mazak Integrex series CNC machines. The Integrex series offers the most advanced and sophisticated 5-axis CNC machines on the market, and is an integral part of Arnott’s unparalleled production capabilities. These impressive, fully robotic machines eliminate multiple setups, improving and ensuring part integrity and efficiency. The expansion and the addition of our sophisticated new machine facility enabled us to not only increase productivity, but also improve on our already lofty quality control standards.

The Arnott facility also has an expanded remanufacturing center and paint shop, state-of-the-art shipping and distribution center, and a massive storage warehouse where raw materials and components are stockpiled and ready for assembly. Arnott’s main offices house Arnott’s newly expanded multi-lingual Customer Care and Call Center, which has more than doubled in the past year. Outside of Florida, Arnott recently has opened remote Distribution Centers in Ontario, Canada, Southern California, Texas, and in the Northeast to provide faster and less expensive shipping options for customers.

Recently Arnott also opened a European Union branch office and distribution center. The EU facility, located in the Netherlands, provides local sales and support, faster shipping, payment in local currencies, and an easier way for the growing legion of European customers to return and sell air suspension cores to Arnott.
