Project Murcielago Getting Started for Gumball 3000

Gumball 3000 is only 3 weeks away from ripping across the country with stops in all the hottest cities from LA to Miami. The May 1 to 8 event is a spectical of eccentric people, exotic cars, and the high life. One of this years entrant is running a Lamborghini Murcielago and wanted it to really stand out. So he shipped his Murcielago Roadster from Toronto, Canada to us in Gilbert, Arizona. The mission, make this one bad Gumballing machine.

We are equipping this Lambo with the new Premier complete body kit. Have not seen this before, check out the Premier line here. This includes the front bumper, side skirts, rear diffuser, and rear wing with a mix of FRP and Carbon Fiber. To add more style we are updating the rear tail lights to the LP640 versions. To make sure no Fuzz get on this Bull, we have added the Beltronics STiR Radar and Laser detector system. We have a couple of other mods including a new navigation, iPod, and bluetooth setup from Kenwood too. Rumor has it that the entire car will be wrapped in a carbon fiber vinyl for the rally! The Vivid Racing projects have really improved over the years. I love seeing nice projects like these, in my mind it is something unique to VR.

OK guys the Premier Body Kit has arrived and it is worth every $$$ it costs! The carbon fiber is straight from a professional race car with a show finish. The main FRP parts are finished to OEM quality. This kit is no joke. We are super pumped to get to install these parts. Tomorrow the car is going to get a NAV/Bluetooth/iPod kit from kenwood installed at soundxpression.com while the body kit goes to paint. I guess we are going to be powdercoating the stock wheels gloss black.

We just has the brakes painted to match the interior red and did the Lamborghini logo in black. Today we also fitted the front bumper on

We just got the stock wheels back from powdercoat. Another service we do here at Vivid Racing. We mounted them with some brand new Pirelli PZero tires as well. Stay tuned as the body kit has gone to paint!

The customer is having Raccoon.co.uk wrap the car for Gumball in a carbon fiber vinyl. So he did a concept drawing. For everyday use, i dont know, for Gumball, a perfect fit!

Got the body kit back from paint. Couple of small things to finish up. We are taking the car over to get the Kenwood Navigation unit installed with bluetooth and iPod integration. We are also installing a Uniden Trunktracker system. Our final mod will be the Beltronics STiR radar laser detector kit. This full Veilside Premier Aero Kit is amazing. More pics coming!

Taking the car to alignment, then doing the window tint. Car looks sick with the top off!

Just got back from Gumball and this car came out sick. The carbon fiber vinyl wrap made this thing one bad mother fucker! Enjoy the pics! I think Donnie just started a new trend.
