Product Information The R-1532 upgrade kit provides a high quality carbon fiber tube bonded to threaded fittings to replace the stainless steel tube assembly of the model R-1530. The upgrade kit only included the carbon fiber tubing, not the ends. During hard cornering and braking, forces are fed from the wheels to the strut tower. Adding stiffer springs and performance shocks only increases the load. Long-term effects are shock tower fatigue, cracking and poor tire wear. A Strut Tower Brace provides extra support to the strut towers by securing both towers together and limiting relative motion. A quality Strut Tower Brace also sharpens the feel and response of the front suspension, thereby enhancing the drivers experience and lowering lap times. Brey-Krause strut tower braces incorporate high strength precision rod ends for adjustability and perfect fit.
