Product Information Neuspeed's Short Shift Kit for the A4 and Passat’(non-push down reverse gear)’features a new billet steel lever that is approximately 1/2" shorter than stock and has a redesigned pivot point.’ The result is a 35% reduction in the throw length. ’A carefully calibrated counterweight machined into the shift lever retains the solid feeling of the stock shift mechanism. Notes: For use only on the 1999.5 thru 2001 Audi A4 and 1999.5 and up Passat.’ If your car does not have a push down reverse gear lockout, this is the correct kit.
