Product Information

Going 1 step further with the 996 Turbo and the stock K24 turbochargers is the K24/20G upgrade. This kit takes your OEM K24 turbochargers and upgrades the exhaust side with a 20G wheel and 1.0bar wastegate actuators. These turbos retain the spool of the stock K24 but give you big top-end power that far exceeds the K24/18G kit. Vivid Racing has proven these turbochargers on many customer vehicles worldwide. 996 Turbo's running the 1/4mile with K24/20G turbos are in the low 10 seconds with a 60-130mph time of 6.00. In a standing mile, the K24/20G are capable of 200mph. Extremely reliable, safe, and driveable on a daily basis.

To upgrade your K24 turbos, you will need to remove them from your vehicle and ship them to our Turbo Builder which we will supply you with the address and instructions. Please contact us first before shipping any products. Once we receive the turbos, we will modify them to the K24/20G level and clean up your stock turbos to be like new. All upgraded turbos include new 1.0bar wastegate actuators. This process is about 7-10 days once they are received. You are responsible for shipping to and from. If you have any technical questions, consult one of our Porsche Specialists.

This VR700 K24/20G kit consists of:

Upgrading your stock K24 Turbos with a 20G Turbine Wheel
Removing the stock wastegates and installing 1.0bar actuators

To Maximize this kits power, we recommend the below options listed in order of importance from top to bottom. We recommend running the stock 3.8bar with the upgraded 60lb injectors. We also recommend for those wanting maximum power to do the intercooler pipe kit for optimal air flow. ECU tunes by Softronic or designed for either 91 or 93 octane. The addition of race gas or those internationally, the ECU will adjust to the change in octane accordingly.

"i bought the full kit k24/20G ik27 denso irridium, double carbon airbox, fvd plenum, T pipe, Y pipe, intercooler, 650CC injector, diverter valves...More than 650 HP with ron98 at the crank for my 996 turbo 2002. A monster........... This is some link (the car has 602HP in these videos).
