This is our upgraded 1400HP rear axle set for the GTO platform. This axle has the thicker Porsche style 108mm CV and hardware that is 30% stronger than the factory design. These axle feature our new 1-3/8" OD 300m 30 spline bars which are significantly larger than any other axle on the market today. Lets say that again, this is a 30 spline axle (not just 28 like other manufacturers). This axle also have a greater advantage of certified 4340AQ cages (not just chromoly). It also has a certified 300m center race that is without a doubt one the of strongest CV races in the industry. This is a direct fit axle and will handle most powerful street and track cars. This axle will bolt directly to the factory differential stubs and include new hardware for installation. Rated to 1400HP. You know who runs our axle and why. The question is why dont you?
Using a 35 spline spool, i admit if your going to use the stock diff this is an advantage but when matching parts you need to consider this. Going bigger on the spline in the diff will not help if you leave the axle the same small 28 spline that the original diff had right? i would suggest this, use the other manufacturers larger spline spool and stubs but make the system complete with our larger 30 spline Axle, this axle is a full 2 spline larger. Splines are expediential in strength. this means a 10% increase in diameter can be as much as a 40% strength increase, as your build grows so will the need for high end parts. A 28 spline is not a bad thing but why make the spline in the diff bigger with out getting the bigger spline axle? keep in mind we have every 8 second independent record on this 30 spline design. We have been around for some time and have found thru failures what works and what doesn't

- Certified 4340AQ cages with re-designed radius on the CV cage windows.
- Our center race in the CV is certified 300m, this should need no explanation, no one else uses this strong a inner race, its why we have so many 8 second cars running our axle.
- Rolled splines on our axle bars. Most know that a forging is always stronger than billet. Here at The Driveshaft Shop we roll our splines, this is by far the strongest way to form a spline and is far superior to cut splines (old technology).

All returns must have a return authorization number issued by The DriveShaft Shop. Absolutely no exceptions.
Parts returned without an RMA number may be refused or charged additional handling fees.
Please understand the axles cannot be returned for any reason unless it is within the warranty period, or an incorrect part was sent. In the case of an incorrect part it is the installers sole responsibility to determine if the part is correct or not, if an incorrect part is installed and either damages the axles or any other parts, it is the sole responsibility of the installer and absolutely no repair under warranty will be given nor reimbursement for loss of time or monetary cost.
Level 0 axles have no warranty against breakage.

- Warranty for Levels 2.9, 3, 3.9, 5, 5.9 and all drive shafts are 12 months from date of purchase. The axle or drive shaft is covered for repair only and only for the covered period (unless noted on invoice). DriveShaft shop and its distributors may not be held responsible in any way for loss of time, loss of money or reimbursement for damage caused by the products
- Absolutely no axle or drive shaft will be returned unless it is a new unit that has not been installed and is returned in original box with copy of original sales receipt and return authorization number. Returns are for credit only, NO EXCEPTIONS. Authorized returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Credits are for parts only and we do not refund shipping and handling charges on any returns.
- Ripped boots are not covered under the warranty; this is considered a road hazard and any damage caused by ripped boots will not be covered under the warranty.
- Axles purchased from The DriveShaft Shop or its distributors are covered for repair of the unit purchased only. These are performance products and should be installed by certified professionals, The DriveShaft shop and its distributors may not be held responsible for loss of money, time or inconvenience caused by the use of our products and by installing the unit you are agreeing to all of these terms and release The DriveShaft Shop and its distributors of any and all liability and waive the right to all and any law suit that may arise from the use of these products.
- Any custom made Axle or Drive shaft is non-refundable. We will do everything in our power to help make the part fit or work correctly, but there will be no returns or refunds on "custom" parts.
- Any aftermarket or custom drive train part attached to our axle/drive shaft will release "The Drive Shaft Shop" of any liability or warranty claim. There will be no exceptions to this.
