Esteves Motorcycle Design (EMD) is a small manufacturer of Harley-Davidson and custom motorcycle engine covers and other accessories made from cast aluminum. Six years ago, Nico Esteves used his family's engineering credentials in the European aerospace and other industries to launch a custom bike building and parts design and manufacturing business under the family name.

Their simple designs are inspired by the history of Harley-Davidson and are meant to resemble vintage hot rod speed parts. They began with ribbed rocker covers and primary covers for XL, EVO, and Twin Cam V-twins and have since expanded to include a variety of air cleaners, fork covers, wheel covers, and headlight buckets.

Why Esteves Motorcycle Design (EMD)?

The main objective of Esteves Motorcycles Design is to produce "killer parts for your iron horse." EMD designs and manufactures aftermarket Harley components, such as primary covers, cam covers, headlight shells, and air cleaners, that provide a substantial upgrade over stock. Their products are made from die-cast aluminum with CNC-milled gasket surfaces, and they mount in place of the factory rocker box designs using the factory hardware and gaskets. They are available with either a raw or "black-cut" finish.

EMD's Billy Boy primary cover is inspired by panhead and knucklehead tin covers and is intended to give a modern bike a vintage look. Their covers are cast in high quality materials for a perfect OEM inner case fit. The Billy Boy primary cover is compatible with all EVO Big Twins and Twin Cams. Raw with a chrome Derby cover, black with a black Derby cover, and black-chrome with a chrome Derby cover are available for Billy Boy covers. EMD also offers air filters, rocker, cam, and tranny covers to drastically alter the appearance of any Big Twin or XL model.
