Injen Short Ram Intake For 2016-2020 Honda Civic Si

The latest generation Honda Civic Si is living up to the hype and outperforming the rest. Taking to modification well, the 10th gen Si features a 1.5 turbocharged inline 4 engine. The factory intake system on the Civic Si seems to restrict quite an amount of flow to the turbo which can cause this sort of “power loss” through mid-range power. There was also a noticeable lack of mid-range torque. Many figured it’s because the engine is so small, being a 1.5L, but Injen recognized that there is massive potential in this little engine.

Spending an immense amount of time on R&D, Injen came out with a brand new intake to help aid the turbocharged engine under the hood. Constructing of 2.75″ diameter aluminum tubing, the new Injen intake is much larger than the factory tubing which eliminates turbulent air within the intake system and helps it flow much easier to the turbo. Another benefit to many owners will be the aggressive tone it gives the engine under full throttle.

The new Injen intake not only helps with the efficiency of the turbocharger, but it also maintains air to fuel ratios under load. Utilizing the SuperNano-Web technology filter along with the intake allows for easy cleaning of the air filter saving you time and money. Sporting an additional 16 horsepower and 14 pound-foot of torque on the dyno, this is an inexpensive way to increase the power output of the 1.5L engine. There are also 3 different color options available in wrinkle red, black, and polished.
