When word hit the streets that the 10th Generation Honda Civic was released 2016, our team here at Injen Technology couldnt wait to get our hands on for development! Once inside our secret test lab, our engineers found that the little 1.5L turbo engine was extremely robust and packed a serious punch! We instantly knew that this pumped up machine needed the touch from our legendary team here at Injen Technology. Quick, nimble, and sporty are all words used to describe the 2016-2020 Honda Civic. Our engineering team here at Injen Technology took the 2016-2020 Honda Civic equipped with the 1.5L Turbocharged engine deep into our R&D lab to extract the hidden power potential inside the engine and whatve come up is nothing short of amazing.
Our engineers found that there was hidden power in the intake tube design and designed an intake tube with smooth transitions for reduced restriction and improved performance. Our new SP1573 cold air intake opens up the intake tract with a large 2.75 aluminum intake tube that runs down the engine compartment and places the air filter behind the front bumper cover. This added length and cooler air allows that turbo and engine to breathe deep and produce the power that youve been craving. To take it one step further, our team also utilized our patented MR technology and our patented air fusion process that allows Intakes to be finely tuned during the manufacturing process for maximum performance WITHOUT the need for additional electronic tuners. Along with that impressive intake tube design, our engineers also developed a custom heatshield that installs easily and helps keep your inlet air temps low and in check.
Our SP1573 intake provides an intake growl that will surely excite your senses as you open up your 10th Generation Honda Civic and let that turbo spool. The soul of this intake is found within 6061-T6 aluminum air intake tube that provides a smooth uninterrupted path for highly efficient airflow. Injen Technology will replace at no charge, any intake pipe considered by Injen Technology to be defective. The warranty is void if the warranty card is not returned to Injen Technology within the first 30 days of purchase. Any and all warranty coverage is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part only, at Injen Technology.s discretion. Proof of purchase is required. The warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages, nor does it cover the cost of installation or removal of the defective part or its replacement.
EXHAUST WARRANTY
Injen Technology offers a one-year warranty to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship on all exhaust systems. Injen Technology will replace at no charge, any exhaust system considered by Injen Technology to be defective. Any and all warranty coverage is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part only, at Injen Technology's discretion. Proof of purchase is required. The warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages, nor does it cover the cost of installation or removal of the defective part or its replacement.
AIR INTAKES AND ACCESSORIES
Injen Technology offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship on all intake systems excluding the filter element. Injen Technology will replace at no charge, any intake pipe considered by Injen Technology to be defective. The warranty is void if the warranty card is not returned to Injen Technology within the first 30 days of purchase. Any and all warranty coverage is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part only, at Injen Technology's discretion. Proof of purchase is required. The warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages, nor does it cover the cost of installation or removal of the defective part or its replacement. All warranty items must be sent freight prepaid with a valid RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and copy of original invoice.
SES INTERCOOLERS AND EXHAUST SYSTEMS
Injen Technology offers a one-year warranty to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship on all exhaust systems. SES Intercooler and exhaust systems that have been installed will not be eligible for return under any circumstances. Defective parts will be replaced or repaired as deemed necessary by Injen Technology. All other warranty issues will apply as indicated under the Air Intake section. Most exhaust and Intercooler system installations may require a lift and or specialized tools. Due to the installation complexity of automotive exhaust and Intercooler systems, Injen Technology recommends that a qualified technician perform the installation. Most local Tuner or exhaust and muffler shops offer professional installation.
