The Mercedes CLA45 AMG is a very tuner friendly vehicle from a company that is known for it’s luxury. This vehicle features the 2.0L Turbocharged, hand built engine, with over 350 horsepower on tap. With a few simple bolt on modifications and ECU tuning, you can push these things well into the 400 range safely. The problem with pushing more power and higher boost pressure is the added stress on the components. This is where the new Agency Power blow off valve kit comes into play.

The factory re-circulation valve is integrated right next to the turbocharger. When you let off the gas or shift at high rpm’s the pressure is then released and sent back into the intake. This can slow down the turbo and eventually cause damage or hurt longevity. The BOV kit from Agency Power changes this air path and sends the pressure to to atmosphere, eliminating turbo surge. It also gives you an audible “Swoosh” when in operation. This will help prevent premature wear and tear on components and help keep the turbo spooled in between gear shifts.
