So you got your dream car finally. Congratulations!!! But wait, it has altezza lights? Sigh. Don’t worry, if altezza tailights are not your thing then there is an answer! JDM EVO VII tailight fit on without any modification, take about 30 minutes to do, and have a cleaner look to them.
Installation on these was really simple. All you have to do is pull back the trunk liner on either side. Do one side at a time to save yourself some grief. The light bulbs simply twist out and stay connected to their wiring harness’. Unbolt the lights from the frame of the car and remove them. Sweating yet? Should not be cause it is so easy! Simply pop in your new tailight for the correct size and replace bulbs where they need to go and you are done!
In all honesty the altezza lights did not bother us. Kind of unique and cool. Hey they designed the car that way. Its not like we went out and bought them! We decided to put the JDM EVO VII lights on there to be different, give you something to look at, and get some feedback. People have been stoked on the VII tailights and commented how it looks. Personally they do look good but either way is OK. Real simple modification and not bad on the wallet either.
