Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard of HRE. They are one of the biggest names in the wheel industry, and their products are globally recognized. The industry is always moving forward, and HRE must move forward to stay on top. This constant market movement forces them to introduce new designs, refresh current designs, or even resurrect old and dead designs. HRE introduced their 540 Series in the late ‘90s, and it quickly became one of their best selling wheels for at-the-time performance cars such as the E46 M3, 996 Turbo, and C5 Corvette. To celebrate HRE’s 40th Anniversary, they are bringing back this classic design and re-engineering it to work with today’s popular sports cars.
