What makes the B&B headers for the 996 Carrera top notch? Simple… The all T304 stainless steel headers include 1/2 inch thick flanges, mandrel bends, and flawless tig welds. The headers are direct replacements for the factory units. Using all factory hardware for simple installation.
The B&B headers provide more efficient airflow which in turn generates more horsepower and torque. The wider diameter piping and bends allow the airflow a more smooth and direct path over the stock headers.
The installation takes about 2 hours at max with simple tools. Socket wrench, open wrenches, and some elbow grease help get the job done. Changing the headers out is much easier when doing the complete exhaust system. Taking all the components off at once gives more room to work with. Once your done, you will have some beautiful stainless steel headers that help your Porsche breathe much better.
