As you probably know, modern pony cars have the performance to compete with some of the best sports cars on the market. It’s not uncommon to see a Camaro at your local track day or on a canyon road. Models like the ZL1 have enough power and performance to compete or outrun cars like the BMW M3/M4. Even with all that performance, the Camaro ZL1 is not a perfect car.
Like most cars, the ZL1 wasn’t exactly designed with high-speed handling in mind. Yes, the ZL1 handles okay at high speed, but it’s far from ideal. If you want to fix this high-speed handling issue, aftermarket aero is a must. APR Performance already offered a few products for the Camaro, and now they’re offering a front wind splitter for the 2017 – 2019 ZL1!
They design the splitter to combat front end lift, unlike some other splitters which are designed solely as an aesthetic piece. The splitter is carbon fiber reinforced and featured stainless steel support rods to help keep it in place. Overall, this new APR wind splitter is a great modification for anyone serious about improving the front end grip of their ZL1.

This looks great. I’d like to place my order, but does this fit/mount over the stock ZL1 splitter, or do you need to pair it with another part? Is it constructed or wrapped in carbon fiber? Can’t really tell. Looking forward to hearing/learning more.
