When our 2002 BMW M3 was purchased, we knew that this project would set us apart from different companies. Keeping a image and style while maintaning function with this car was extremely important. Like most cars, our first mod was to get a new set of wheels on the car to have it look cleaner. What style, what color, and what size would we get? For this, we turned to our friends at DTM Kreuz and Michelin for a little help.
Setting Vivid apart from the competition has always been very important to our image. We wanted to put wheels and tires on the M that would grab eyes and gain mass attention. We choose to go with the DTM Kreuz 6 3 piece wheels. Using a complete forge design, the Kreuz 6 have a unique look with a lip on the wheel you could have dinner off of. The wheel has a gloss black center section with a polished lip. We choose to run staggard having a 19×9 in the front and a 19×10 in the rear. For tires, our good friends at Michelin got us the new Pilot Sports in a 245/35/19 for the fronts and 275/35/19 for the rears. We went with these tires as a good medium for aggressive driving and regular cruising. With a good wear, great hook up, and quiet ride, the Pilot Sports fit our needs.
