Well it has definitely been sometime on the Project Pepsi RX8. The plan has been coming together, and in the end, it is starting to look amazing. Our last day of assembly included finalizing the Nitrous Express Ntercooler system, putting in the interior, adding the Bride racing seats, finishing the cage, and tuning the turbo kit up with a Agency Power Blow Off Valve.
We kept our blue and red theme by covering the factory rear seats and door panels with Bride blue alcantara material. We added the Bride Gias bucket racing seats which fit tight on us American boys. NX provided us with an Ntercooler kit which we installed to keep the intercooler temps down under boost. We mounted the bottle temporarily on the rear console. To help our Turbo Kit breathe better, we installed a Agency Power atmospheric blow off valve. This is a direct weld on to give the turbo quick spool between shifts, as well as that great turbo sound.
Now that the car is driveable and the interior is almost complete, we will be sending the RX8 off to paint. We should have the car back in 2 weeks which will then undergo stereo work by Sound Xpression. Once that is complete we have some minor touch ups and we are ready to unvail the beast. So stay tuned!
