RENNtech just announced the release of their new carbon fiber aerodynamics for the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Parts include a front lip splitter, rear spoiler and rear diffuser.
E63 AMG BiTurbo Sedan (2014-present/Facelift):
- Carbon Fiber Deck Lid Spoiler – This highly integrated pre-preg carbon fiber spoiler compliments the sophisticated and refined E-class exterior design. The spoiler is coated both inside and out with an all-new acrylic UV protection system. A second layer of UV protectant clear coating is also applied using traditional spray methods, in order to create a smooth and high gloss finish. This spoiler is designed to fit any E-Class sedan model from 2010 and up. No drilling or modifications to the trunk are necessary; it installs with 3M double-sided automotive tape.
- Carbon Fiber Front Splitter – This front splitter with integrated air ducts features a unique design that not only looks menacing, but also improves the airflow and front-end downforce of your vehicle. The enlarged central grille opening eliminates the horizontal “A-wing” and therefore opens up the air flow into the car’s cooling systems. Made from pre-preg carbon fiber, the splitter assembly also features a unique acrylic coating process which protects it from any harmful UV rays and humidity degradation. Once the acrylic coating is cured, the part is then covered using a high-end automotive clear coat to create a beautiful gloss finish. The kit includes: 1 carbon fiber splitter with integrated air ducts; 3 black aluminum mesh grille inserts; 2 air duct opening inserts; and 4 upper fascia mounting brackets. This splitter is designed to fit 212 – E63 facelift sedan and wagon models from 2014 and up. Modifications to the OEM front fascia are necessary; it installs with 3M double-sided automotive tape and supplied hardware.
- Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser w/ CMC Tips – This rear diffuser creates an aggressive and functional aesthetic for the rear of the 212 – E63 sedan. There are five separate parts constructed from 100% pre-preg carbon fiber that make up the diffuser assembly: the upper brow, the lower diffuser panel, and three individual diffuser blade elements. This complex part break-up opened up the overall design flexibility and allows for much easier serviceability for the end user. The diffuser assembly also features a unique acrylic coating process which protects the carbon fiber from any harmful UV and humidity degradation. RENNtech also developed all new CMC (Ceramic Matrix Composite) exhaust tips specifically for this rear diffuser. This particular material and manufacturing process has been utilized in Formula 1, Le Mans, and various aerospace programs. CMC is known for its superior strength and lightweight qualities, as well as resistance to extreme heat applications. The material is cured at an astounding 2500 degrees Fahrenheit. Therefore, heat from your exhaust will never affect these beautiful exhaust tips. This rear diffuser and exhaust tip assembly is designed to fit the 212 – E63 facelift sedan model from 2014 and up. - Carbon Fiber Tailgate Spoiler – This 100% pre-preg carbon fiber tailgate spoiler features an innovative RENNtech design that caps over the existing OEM one. Most notable design elements include the “blow-through” style center section and the integrated air vents located within both outer sections of the spoiler. The spoiler compliments styling of the E63, all while creating a low slung aesthetic to the rear of the vehicle and retaining the OEM rear brake light functionality. A unique acrylic coating process which protects the carbon fiber from any harmful UV and humidity degradation covers all surfaces of this spoiler. This rear tailgate spoiler is designed to fit all 212 – E Class wagon models from 2010 and up. No modifications to the vehicle are necessary; it installs with 3M double sided automotive adhesive.
- Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser w/ CMC Tips – This rear diffuser will give the rear of your 212 – E63 wagon a new aggressive look. The design and engineering teams at RENNtech HQ spent countless hours fine tuning the part to perfectly compliment the E63 exterior while improving the underbody airflow.
